{"id":12046,"date":"2024-05-03T09:53:36","date_gmt":"2024-05-03T07:53:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nanomesurefrance.fr\/?p=12046"},"modified":"2024-05-03T09:55:10","modified_gmt":"2024-05-03T07:55:10","slug":"partenariat-innovative-materials-for-eu-iam4eu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nanomesurefrance.dev.emerya.eu\/en\/partenariat-innovative-materials-for-eu-iam4eu\/","title":{"rendered":"Innovative Materials for EU - IAM4EU\" partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-12049 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/nanomesurefrance.dev.emerya.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Horizon-Europe-570x556.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"570\" height=\"556\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>On March 20, 2024, the European Commission adopted the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu\/funding\/funding-opportunities\/funding-programmes-and-open-calls\/horizon-europe\/strategic-plan_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Horizon Europe's 2nd strategic plan<\/a>\u00a0for the period 2025-2027 confirming acceptance of the \"Innovative Materials for EU - IAM4EU\" partnership proposed by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ami2030.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AMI2030\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/graphene-flagship.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graphene Flagship<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This public-private partnership is supported by the AMI2030 (led by EMIRI, EUMAT, SusChem and ManuFuture) and Graphene Flagship initiatives. The two initiatives have worked on drafting a 1st version of the<strong>strategic research and innovation agenda<\/strong> (SRIA) in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, with links established in particular with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euramet.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EURAMET<\/a>the European Association of National Metrology Institutes, and in particular the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euramet.org\/european-metrology-networks\/advanced-manufacturing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Metrology Network (EMN) for advanced manufacturing<\/a> with a focus on advanced materials and nanomaterials.<\/p>\n<p>IAM4EU aims to establish and maintain a cross-sectoral, multi-disciplinary and collaborative research and innovation ecosystem on a European scale that will significantly accelerate the time-to-market for innovative and sustainable advanced materials designed for a digital and circular economy.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b33fa420d2efe8943015ebfbb418094b animate --reveal\">\n<li>IAM4EU will cover all segments of the materials value chain, as well as technologies and infrastructures (used, supported and\/or developed) to accelerate the design, development and adoption of innovative materials. <strong>Characterization, testing and metrology are key elements here, as is the link to standardization.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>IAM4EU will support the entire innovation cycle for innovative materials (from basic research to the adoption of innovation).<\/li>\n<li>IAM4EU will recognize the key role of all types of innovative materials.<\/li>\n<li>As a co-programmed partnership with industry, IAM4EU will ensure that research investments meet industry needs and stimulate the adoption of marketable products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Calls for projects will aim to harmonize and validate characterization methods for a range of advanced materials and nanomaterials issues, including regulatory issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"animate --reveal\">The current version of the SRIA can be consulted at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/emiri.sharepoint.com\/sites\/AMI2030\/Shared%20Documents\/Forms\/AllItems.aspx?id=%2Fsites%2FAMI2030%2FShared%20Documents%2FGeneral%2FKey%20documents&amp;p=true&amp;ga=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>\u00a0and has been shared with the European Commission. IAM4EU a vocation \u00e0 \u00e9tablir et \u00e0 maintenir un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me de recherche et d\u2019innovation intersectoriel, multidisciplinaire et collaboratif \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle europ\u00e9enne qui acc\u00e9l\u00e9rera consid\u00e9rablement la mise sur le march\u00e9 de mat\u00e9riaux avanc\u00e9s innovants et durables con\u00e7us pour une \u00e9conomie num\u00e9rique et circulaire. IAM4EU couvrira tous les segments de la cha\u00eene de valeur des mat\u00e9riaux, ainsi que les technologies et infrastructures (utilis\u00e9es, soutenues et\/ou d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es) permettant d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer la conception, le d\u00e9veloppement et l\u2019adoption des mat\u00e9riaux innovants. Les volets caract\u00e9risation, essai et m\u00e9trologie seront ici cl\u00e9, tout comme le lien \u00e0 la normalisation.\u00a0 IAM4EU soutiendra l\u2019ensemble du cycle d\u2019innovation des mat\u00e9riaux innovants (de la recherche fondamentale \u00e0 l\u2019adoption de l\u2019innovation). IAM4EU reconna\u00eetra le r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 de tous les types de mat\u00e9riaux innovants. En tant que partenariat coprogramm\u00e9 avec l\u2019industrie, IAM4EU veillera \u00e0 ce que les investissements dans la recherche r\u00e9pondent aux besoins de l\u2019industrie et stimulent l\u2019adoption de produits commercialisables. Des appels \u00e0 projets viseront notamment \u00e0 harmoniser et valider des m\u00e9thodes de caract\u00e9risation pour diff\u00e9rentes probl\u00e9matiques autour des mat\u00e9riaux avanc\u00e9s et des nanomat\u00e9riaux, dont le volet r\u00e9glementaire.
